Government/Non-Profit
Solar systems can support government entities and non-profits in achieving several of their high level goals:
- Reduce energy budgets, making valuable operating capital available for other items
- Protect against sudden and unexpected increases in electricity costs
- Increase certainty in cash flow forecasting
- Demonstrate green leadership in the community
Solar Parking Benefits
Additionally, government and non-profit entities that pursue Natural Power and Energy's Solar Parking Structure option can provide visitors and employees with a valuable source of shade to protect their cars and keep them cool.
Solar Incentives
Many of the incentives to purchase solar are tax-based, and therefore inaccessible to non tax-paying entities such as schools, municipalities and non-profits. As a result, some government and non-profit entities choose to partner with specialized third party financing providers to help construct their solar system.
Natural Power and Energy maintains a network of leading solar finance partners. We will help you navigate the various financing options to find the best solution for your project.

Goodwill Industries of Southern California hired Natural Power and Energy to develop a 195 kW solar rooftop project at their brand new valley campus in Panorama City, CA. The system was completed in June, 2012 and the building was rated LEED Gold.
